The show will last approximately 1.5hrs and is built around three short films produced over the last two years.
Movement is a short, poetic kayaking film which highlights the intricate beauty of how water moves, revealing the Earth's deepest secrets. As whitewater athletes, we’ve always had the privilege of witnessing this complex artistry, and it feels important to share that beauty as widely as we can.
Perspective, on the other hand, delves into a topic central to every athlete yet rarely discussed: injury. While injury is something we all try to avoid—and often view negatively—progress is never linear. Some of the most profound learning comes from objectively difficult situations. This short film tells the story of how skateboarding became an unexpected but transformative training tool for an injured whitewater kayaker.
Himalayan High-Grade, showcases whitewater kayaking in its purest form. It's an exhibition of the highest grade of human movement, in Nepal- a country where the heartbeat of the Earth can be felt in the constant flux of the land, river systems, culture, society and of course its native flora.
These films, while individual creations, have all arisen from the same natural process, just at different times and circumstances. Our live show tells the story as it happened. In particular we talk about the creative state of mind which led to the production of each of these films and remains inseparable from every aspect of our lives.
