SUBSCRIPTIONS
What types of subscription do you offer?
We have various types of coffee subscriptions available - from single origin subscriptions to decaf subscriptions, and gift subscriptions.
Choose a frequency of delivery and amount of coffee (250g or 1KG) that works best for you - and we'll do all the rest.
We also now offer an office coffee subscription, which is ideal if you're looking to furnish your workplace with a speciality coffee offering to look forward to each day. This comes with a choice of either 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10KG bags depending on the size of your office.
How do your subscriptions work?
Whether you're looking for a recurring Single Origin or a prepaid Blend subscription, you're in control.
Simply choose your favourite coffee, how often you want to receive it, and whether you want to prepay in advance or pay monthly. Then we'll roast and post your subscription direct to your door - with FREE shipping!
The easiest way to find your perfect coffee is to follow our quiz, but you can also click See All Subscriptions to choose from a list.
How do I log in to my account?
You can access your customer portal through your store account login. If you have not registered an account, you will need to create an account using the same email address used at checkout.
Once your account is registered, you can log in and access your customer portal by clicking on the Manage Subscriptions link.
How do I pause a subscription?
- Login to your customer portal.
- Click the Manage subscriptions tab.
- Under the subscription you want to pause, select Manage this subscription.
- Click Cancel subscription and the pause a subscription options will display. Select how long you want to pause your subscription for and click Pause subscription.
How do I cancel or adjust my subscription?
- Login to your customer portal.
- Click the Manage subscriptions tab.
- Under the subscription you want to cancel, select Manage this subscription
- Click Cancel subscription, then Cancel subscription again.
- Provide a cancellation reason and click Next, then confirm the cancellation by selecting Cancel subscription.
Are your packages letterbox friendly?
If you order one bag of coffee, we will post these in a letterbox friendly envelope. Anything over this amount will be sent out in eco-friendly packaging.
What is a recurring subscription?
A recurring subscription will charge you each month on an ongoing basis. Choose your coffee, quantity, and frequency and then get excited about the fact that you can edit your subscription at any time. Want to try a new coffee? Just swap to a different one! Need to pause for a month? Just pause it in your account. Recurring subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
While you can buy a recurring subscription for others, we would recommend our gift subscriptions instead so that your recipient has control over what they get and when.
What is a prepaid subscription?
A prepaid subscription is paid up front for a set amount of coffee. You choose the coffee you like, the quantity, and the frequency. You pay once and the coffee is delivered until your subscription runs out. This will not auto-renew (though you can choose to manually renew it yourself).
While you can buy a prepaid subscription for others, we would recommend our gift subscriptions instead so that your recipient has control over what they get and when.
What is a gift subscription?
A gift subscription is paid up front for someone else. This credit is then added to your recipient's account once they redeem their gift. Their future subscriptions draw down from the credit that you sent until it runs out. Once it runs out, they can choose to add a payment method to continue the subscription on their own. The benefit is that the recipient has complete control.
What do I do if I have an insufficient credit balance?
If your credits balance is above £0 but is not enough to cover your recent order then you have simply run low on credit and you do not have a payment method assigned to cover the difference for your subscription.
To continue your subscription (and to use up your balance) please do the following:
- Log in to your customer account. Enter your email address and you will receive an email with a six-digit code in order to log in.
- Navigate to profile.
- Scroll to the bottom of the profile page.
- If you already have an existing payment method: press assign a payment method to subscriptions and choose an existing payment method.
- If you do not have an existing payment method (e.g. you were sent a gift subscription and you have never placed another order from us): choose add a payment method and the website will prompt you to add and verify a payment method.
- If successful, this payment method will appear under your payment methods.
- Next, press assign a payment method to subscriptions and choose the payment method which you just added.
- Navigate to the subscriptions page.
- Scroll down to credits and ensure that "Automatically use credits for my next order" is toggled on.
- Scroll up and you should find a notification about your most recent order having an insufficient credit balance.
- Inside this notification select retry payment.
- If successful, this should use up your remaining credit balance and charge the remainder to the payment method which you just added.
- Your subscription should now continue as normal and charge to your new payment method.
Important note: If you add a payment method from the "Subscriptions" tab then it will not be accepted for your existing subscription. Please follow the step-by-step process above instead.
If you have any issues following these steps, or if they do not work for you, then please email us and we will do our best to help. Please just know that we are unable to add a payment method for you due to security reasons.
