Youth Work Administrator for Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters and the youth work charity Project Northern Lights

Glen Lyon Coffee are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Youth Work Administrator to lead in the delivery of our Coffee Academy youth work programme, funded by the Basil Death Trust.

  • Duration: Six month contract
  • Location: Mainly working from home
  • Hours per week: Eight hours flexible working
  • Salary: £12.00 per hour

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and passionate 'Youth Work Administrator,' to support our forward thinking, creative and dynamic youth work team at Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters. The successful applicant will be a highly organised individual with proven administrative skills and an ability to effectively manage their own workload.

The person appointed will work alongside the Glen Lyon team members to develop and manage the delivery of a Coffee Academy for young people in the Aberfeldy area. They will help ensure the delivery of an agreed one-week intensive training programme at the Roastery over the October holiday period as well as follow on work placement experience in partner cafes.

Our Coffee Academy is dedicated to providing both the skills for young people to excel in the coffee industry as well as strengthening young people’s confidence, teamwork and strong customer service skills. The person in this administrator role will share our vision that Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters is a place that inspires young people and their families to come together and build a healthy and resilient Highland community.
