Figgy Pudding is our always popular festive blend—super sweet and fruity, it is the perfect way to brighten up these dark and frosty winter mornings.

We all love Christmas here at Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters, and we've developed this blend to help you celebrate in style. There's nothing better than waking up early during the holidays and brewing a great cup of coffee to get the day going—and Figgy Pudding is here to help.

We change the components every year to keep things fresh and interesting, but we always aim to keep those Christmas cake vibes: sweet notes of stone fruit, maybe a bit boozy, but also creamy and smooth.

Figgy Pudding pairs perfectly with a fresh mince pie or, yes, a slice of figgy pudding.

El Salvador El Cipres
Located on the north slopes of the Picacho Volcano in the Balsamo-Quezaltepec coffee region, in the municipality of Nejapa, Department of San Salvador. El Cipres estate has been in the family since 1880 after being bought by Dr. Emilio Alvarez Lalinde when the family migrated to El Salvador from Colombia bringing with them their ancestral knowledge in coffee production. The estate is now run by the Alvares Gallardo family who took over in 1992 bringing a new passion and dedication to the farm working hard to achieve RFA certification as well as improving all aspects of the estate.

The estate is made up of 90 hectares of coffee and 5 hectares of natural forest allowing the wildlife to flourish. Starting at 1070 masl the farm is a long thin strip which climbs up to 1800 masl producing 3000 bags annually. The Estate has also reintroduced the old practice of agobia cutting and growing which has significantly helped to improve yield where the trees are bent over and tied to the ground to keep producing whilst new shoots grow vertically.

Uganda Kalingwe AA
Arabica Coffee has been grown in the Rwenzori region of Uganda for as long as anyone can remember, and the conditions of high rainfall, altitude from 1300 to over 2000 masl, and rich volcanic soils are perfect for the production of top quality speciality arabica coffee. Practically all coffee is grown by smallholder farmers. The typical size of plot is between 1 and 2 acres. The main varietals are SL28 and SL14, but with a range of other older varietals which contribute to the rich complexity of the coffee produced.

Our speciality coffees are 100% traceable and ethically sourced. We work direct with farmers, or through trusted partners, to bring you the best coffee from around the world.
