Honey & Semi-Washed Process Coffee

Very simply, the honey or semi-washed process is half-way between the washed and natural processes. Briefly, natural coffees are dried in their fruit (skin, pulp and mucilage all) while washed coffees are de-pulped and washed (with their skin, pulp and mucilage fully removed) before being dried. In the honey process however a certain amount of mucilage is left on the bean before it is dried. Learn more about the honey & semi-wash coffee process here.

These coffees often exhibit the best qualities of the washed and natural processes: clean and bright but still somewhat fruity and full-bodied. The best of both worlds!

Archived and out of season products

Speciality coffee is a seasonal product. While we work hard to source our coffee from the same farms each year, there is always variability. These are coffees which we have had in the past and may (or may not) have again in the future.

Archived

?

Archived products are unlikely to come back into stock. This can happen for many reasons, e.g. a limited coffee lot, the farmer no longer grows this coffee, etc.

Out of Season

?

Out of season products are likely to come back into stock next year. Coffee is seasonal and we try to maintain long lasting relationships with the farmers we work with.

Sold out

?

Sold out products are likely to come back into stock soon. This is usually due to a small delay in delivery or roasting.
