Building resilience in the Scottish coffee industry and across the supply chain
We are living through uncertain times in the Scottish coffee industry and beyond. Challenges facing independent roasters include green coffee price volatility, rising costs in the hospitality industry and disruptions in the supply chain. Rather than facing these challenges in isolation this gathering has been organised as a collaboration by Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters and The Cuppers Union to bring the community of Scottish Roasters together for a day of talks, discussions and workshops.
The day will revolve around the theme of resilience, both amongst roasters and across the supply chain. We will hold three talks and discussions from the perspective of producers, importers and roasters. There will also be a number of breakout workshops focused on skill sharing. The speakers and schedule is TBC but will be published in the coming weeks.
There will be a live band and street food for those who want to say on into the evening. We will follow up with a list of possible accommodation options for all budgets for those who are interested in staying overnight in Aberfeldy.
Places are limited so if you are interested be sure to buy a ticket now to secure your participation.
