Have an exclusive insight into life behind the scenes of a busy coffee roastery! Back in 2025 by popular demand this is your chance to learn about the Glen Lyon Coffee’s story from a modest bothy in Glen Lyon to a thriving community focused business in the heart of Highland Perthshire.

The tour will include a deep dive into the world of speciality coffee with our roaster Elsie, including a detailed explanation of the long and complicated supply chain process that green beans go through to reach us. You will also get to visit our roasting and production area (otherwise off limits) and of course sample some of our delicious coffees.

Our roastery experience lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour and is limited to 6 people.

What to expect:
- A free espresso-based coffee on arrival
- Hear the story of Glen Lyon Coffee and our philosophy
- A guided tour of our production facilities
- A coffee tasting with an introduction to sensory flavours in coffee
- A chance to quiz our experts on all things coffee related
- 10% discount on all our coffee beans

Please note: Tickets must be purchased 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately we are unable to give refunds for non-attendance.

Cost: £20 per person

Grind	Brewing Device
Whole beans	Recommended for optimum freshness
French Press	A coarse grind, best for French Press or Cold Brew
Filter	A medium grind best for filter machines and pourovers.
Aeropress	Medium fine grind, best for Aeropress
Moka Pot	Fine grind, best for moka pot and some espresso machines

Due to the huge variance in brewers, we cannot offer refunds if the chosen grind doesn't work in your brewer.

We can grind for espresso on request.
