Privacy Policy

When you order a product from Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters Ltd, our secure payment process service needs to collect certain information from you; your name, your email address, the delivery address, your phone number and your credit or debit card information. This information is then used by either PayPal or Stripe to process your order and it allows us to contact you to notify you of the status of your order if necessary.


When you place an order online you are connected to a secure server. The secure server software encrypts all information you input which means that any sensitive information such as your credit or debit card details cannot be intercepted or seen by anyone except our Payment Service Provider, PayPal. Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters never sees your card details. We are notified by e-mail when you place an order and are informed when your payment has been authorised by your bank.

Making A Purchase

After you have browsed our online shop and identified the products that you want, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. Once you have everything you want in your basket, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few essential details so that your order can be processed. You can also phone your order through to Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters on 01887 822871. Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters reserves the right refuse any order which is deemed to have not been conducted in the correct way.


We roast all our coffee to order, subject to stock availability, roastery closure and bank holidays. We will try our best to contact you if the wait is expected to be longer than 14 days. Your order should be with you within two weeks of placement, although it is more likely to be with you within two or three days. All of our deliveries are sent through Royal Mail and are based on the weight of the coffee. UK orders of under 1KG (three x 250g bags or less) are sent out with Royal Mail First Class. Orders between 1KG-2KG (4-7 x 250g bags) are sent out with Royal Mail Second Class and orders of 2KG and above will be delivered by Parcelforce 48.

Cancelling Or Changing Your Order

Once you have placed your order you will be issued with an order number via email confirmation, please quote the order number in any further communications. If you wish to cancel your order, providing it has not already been dispatched, we will simply refund your money. It is important that you notify us as quickly as possible – please email shop@glenlyoncoffee.co.uk or call us on 01887 822871. Cancelled orders will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellations. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched. Similarly, if you wish to amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Again this will only be possible if your order has not already been dispatched.


We are committed at Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters to provide you with the highest quality coffee. If however you are dissatisfied with the product that you have purchased it can be returned to us, providing it is not more than 7 days since you received the goods. You will only receive a refund for packets of coffee that have not been opened. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us. If goods are damaged, or if you receive a product that you did not order, we will provide you with a full refund or replacement provided you notify us within 30 days of receiving the goods. We use both PayPal and Stripe as our Secure online payment processors.
All major credit cards (Visa/Delta/Electron, MasterCard/Eurocard, American Express, Switch/Maestro, Solo) and PayPal are accepted. A PayPal account is not required and you do not need to create one. You will be redirected to PayPal’s secure site to complete your checkout.
