We’ve got these beautiful 6ft Nordmann Firs for sale here at the roastery over the next few weeks 🌲🌲🌲

Grown just up the road from us on a family farm in Pitlochry, Nordmann’s are known for their lush, super soft foliage, their subtle pine scent and the fact that they retain their needles much longer than any of the other Christmas trees out there.

We put ours up at the roastery today and can’t wait to get the deccies out. Pictures to follow… 🎄🎄🎄

Too good not to share, our latest Guatemalan is in

Too good not to share, our latest Guatemalan is in and, wow, it’s a beaut. This super sweet natural, think peaches and cream, from producer Fernando Diaz Ortega is grown on the slopes of Mount La Gavia between the Tecuamburro and Pacaya volcanoes. Guatemala’s lush volcanic soils, high altitudes and diverse micro climates make this such an exciting origin and we always look forward to roasting these coffees.

We were thrilled to bump into Javier of @caribbeangoods earlier this year at the Glasgow Coffee Festival. Born and raised in Guatemala but now based here in Scotland, Javier’s company Caribbean Goods was founded with the dream of making coffee farming fair for producers. Cupping with Javier later this year this Santa Ana natural jumped out on the cupping table. There were only a couple of bags left so we snapped them up. We’re running it on espresso for the next couple of weeks and have bags available online and in our roastery. But this is a super limited edition so when it’s gone, it’s gone 😢

We’ve stocked some brilliant @kleankanteenuk kit over the years and these 12oz mountain etched stainless steel camp mugs are some of our favourite.

Made with 90% post consumer recycled stainless steel and complete with a splash proof lid, the vacuum insulation keeps our coffee warm for up to 3.5 hours - kind of handy as the Scottish winter draws near. (It dropped down to minus 7 in Altnaharra in the early hours of this morning!)

Available in white, black and teal online and on our roastery shelves.
